Signature Experiences
Community festivals and fairs, iconic scenic destinations, farm tours, and seasonal attractions keep Placer County jumping 12 months out of the year.

Every travel destination has “don’t miss” experiences that are on everyone’s bucket list.

Placer County is exceptionally blessed in this department. Rarely a weekend goes by when there is not a signature “Placer County Experience” taking place. All over the county, there are iconic scenic spots, such as the shores of Lake Tahoe, the Foresthill Bridge spanning the American River canyon and breathtaking vistas high atop the Sierra Nevadas that fill up memory books, and Instagram feeds. With four distinct seasons, Placer unabashedly celebrates them with seasonal attractions such as pumpkin patch and Christmas tree farms. With more than 1,200 working family farms within its boundaries, Placer celebrates its agricultural history with farm-and-barn tours, and festivals celebrating our food, such as the Egg Plant Festival in Loomis and the Mountain Mandarin Festival in Auburn. And for those looking to relax and recharge, a splendid array of spas and wellness centers stretch from the shores of North Lake Tahoe, to the valley below.

Rarely a weekend goes by when there is not a signature "Placer County Experience" taking place.
